Covers
Mobile app

Get the app

Install Covers on your phone, sign in, and know what lives there versus on the computer.

The Covers app puts the working half of the product in your pocket: tonight's floor, bookings, guests, and messages, fully native on iPhone and Android. It talks to the same account as the dashboard, so a booking taken on the phone is on the host-stand iPad the same second.

Install and sign in

The app is currently installed by invite while public store listings are on the way: the Covers team sends you an install invite, through TestFlight on iPhone or a direct install link on Android. Ask your Covers contact for yours. Once installed, sign in with the same email and password you use on the computer; if you belong to more than one organization, the app asks which one to open, and you can switch later from the account menu. There is no separate mobile account to create.

No sign-in yet?

Ask whoever runs your Covers account to invite you from Settings, under Team & Roles. The invite email creates your sign-in for both the app and the dashboard.

What's in the app

Four tabs cover the daily work:

  • Service is the live service view: your floor plan with real table statuses, the timeline, the waitlist, and walk-in seating.
  • Bookings lists the day's reservations and takes new ones.
  • Guests is the guest book: profiles, notes, tags, and history.
  • Inbox is the message inbox, with the same Sadie handoff as the dashboard.

Your avatar opens the account sheet: your profile, appearance, notifications, language, event requests, analytics, the home-screen widget, and a "Manage on web" link for everything that lives on the dashboard. Mise sits next to the tab bar as the sparkle button. Notifications follow the same personal preferences you set on the web, and on iPhone a live service card can sit on your Lock Screen with tonight's numbers.

What stays on the computer

Building things stays on the big screen on purpose: the floor plan editor, availability and service schedules, the widget, email, and wallet-pass studios, and venue settings. The phone is for running the venue, not rebuilding it at the bar.

What's next

Run service from your phone walks a night on the app.
